About Shambani Pro

Shambani Pro is an innovative social enterprise that sets up a network of value addition factories at first mile to eliminate post harvest loss for smallholder farmers. We offtake all grades of produce from smallholder farmers and turn them into valuable products that we sell, unlocking sustainable value.

Smallholder farmers currently experience between 30-50% post harvest loss. Shambani Pro is on a mission to change this story, starting with the Mango value chain.

Shambani Pro is able to do what it does because of long standing engagements with offtakers of premium products in Kenya. We also offer our by-products to organisations that produce fertilizers, animal feeds, seedlings at a subsidized fee.
